Skills Bootcamp

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is proud to be working in partnership with the Department for Education (DfE) to help deliver Skills Bootcamps. Flexible, government-funded training programmes designed to meet current employer demand and help individuals progress in their careers.

These short, intensive courses are a great opportunity to gain new skills in high-demand sectors, whether you're looking to enter a new industry or advance in your current role.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged 19 or over

  • Have a good level of English 

What Are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses lasting up to 16 weeks. They’re designed to fit around your existing commitments and give you the skills that employers are actively hiring for.

You can train in a wide range of sectors, including:

  • Digital – data engineering, software development, marketing

  • Technical – construction, engineering

  • Green – EV maintenance, heat pump technology

  • Health & Social Care – care management, well-being

  • HGV Driving – whether you're new or returning to the profession

  • Business & Administration – project management, insurance

  • Early Years – child development, health & safety, and fast-track apprenticeships


Who Can Apply?

To enrol, you must:

  • Be aged 19 or over

  • Have a good level of English

  • Be willing and ready to learn

Most Skills Bootcamps have no formal entry requirements. However, some may need you to have specific qualifications or experience, which will be listed in the course details.
