This workshop delivers learning on identifying speed limits, stopping distances and the possible consequences to drivers, and others, of speeding.
Speed awareness online workshop (available for Category B and C vehicles)
By the end of the workshop, delegates will be able to demonstrate improved knowledge of how to drive at appropriate speeds and adhere to laws that govern the roads. It will also enhance their understanding of defensive driving.
The course lasts around 1 hr for an individual and 1 hr 30 mins for two to six delegates, plus ID checks. The content from these face-to-face courses can be viewed online through a secure Zoom video link.
A certificate of attendance will be issued following the successful completion of the workshop.
This course cannot replace the national speed awareness course for those diverted from court by the police through the issuing of a Conditional Fixed Penalty Notice (CFPN).
